Shadhili Tariqa

A Bayan Majlis commemorating the Shahaadath of Sultanul Karbala Seyyaduna Hazrat Imam Husain Raliyallu taala anhu is conducted at Kazimar Big Mosque, Madurai, India. It starts on Islamic New Year (Hijri) 1st of Muharram and ends on 25th, Daily from Asar to Isha. It is conducted by Moulana Moulavi. A. Syed Khaja Mueenuddeen B.A., Khalifatush Shadhili and Government Kazi of Madurai.

Actually this practice of conducting Muharram Bayan Mehfil started during the period of Al waliyyul kaamil Moulana Meer Ahmed Ibrahim Rahmatullahi alaihi (Hazrat al Kabeer) the only Kazi to the then Government. He was a great sunni scholar and a muhib and Awlad of Ahlebait e Rasoolullah sal… There is no Matam or any other Shiite (Shia) practices.

This year On the day of Ashura  7th January 2009 wednesday a Grand Zikr majlis is conducted following Maghrib prayers and after that Hasnain Qasidah, Fatima Zahra (Rali…) Qaseedha, Ali Akbar (Rali…) Qaseedha are recited. Hasnain Qasidah is a Marsiya composed by Al Arif Billah Syed Abdus Salam Ibrahim Rahmathullahi Alaihi (Saalim Hazrat) who is the son of Al waliyyul Kaamil Meer Amjad Ibrahim Rahmathullahi Alaihi (Hazrat As Saghir). This Qasidah was verified and approved by Hazrat Rasoolullah sal.. Only a few Qasidahs in this world possesses such a (Sharafat) speciality.

Fatima Zahra Qasida starts as “Anaz Zahra” this is a Qasida composed by Seyyidat an Nisa Hazrat Fatima Zehra Rali.. Daughter of our Holy prophet sal… and offered to Saalim Hazrat in Her physical presence. (Not while Sleeping or Dream.).

Ali Akbar (Rali…) Qaseedha was composed by Hazrat Seyyadhuna Imam Ali Akbar (Rali…) who is the Grandson of Mushkil Kusha Hazrat Moula Ali..Karramallahu wajhahu ( and Eldest son of Hazrat Imam Husain Rali…) and this too was offered to Saalim waliyullah Rahmathullah in His physicsal presence.

On the last day of Bayan a Qaseedhah compsed by Hazrat Hammam ibn Ghalib Abu Firas Rali.. Farazdaq poet which completely praises Ahlebait e Rasulullah.

Verily…In the meditation of Allah lies the peace to the mind. -Al Qur’aan. A muslim reaches closer and closer towards the Almighty by zikr and there is no fixed time for Zikr and salawat like Prayer, Fasting, Zakat and Haj. Zikr and salawath can be best recited at any time and that too during the Ayyam at Tashriq this could be more fruitful.

A Hazra majlis is to be held after the subh prayers on 8th December 2008 starting with Walifa (Salwaat thought by Qutbul Akbar Hazrat Imam Shadhili Radiyallah Ta’ala anhu) and Yaqutiyya (Salawaath tought by Qutbul Ujud Hazrat Imam Fassi radiyallah Ta’ala anhu) followed by a grand zikr Hadra.

Inshad containing Talbiyah will be recited after Qirat. The majlis ends with jalala followed by the traditional sunnat of Qabrastan and Maqbara Ziyarat  Duaa and Takbir (Takbeer).

The same type of Zikr halqa majlis to be held on the same day after Isha Prayers at Melur jumma mosque, Melur, Madurai District, South India. Moulavi Alhaj P.V.Abdus salaam Rahmani Aalim Principal of Inamkulathur Arabi Madarasa and a Muqaddam of fassiyatush Shadhilyyah tariqa at Sakkimangalam is to preside the majlis.

The next day that is in the day of Eid ul Alha 9th december 2008, similar Swalawaat and Zikr majlis is to be held.

The very Grand urs festival of Qutbul Hamid Gausul Majid Badhushah Hazrath Qutb Sulthan Syed Ibrahim Shaheed raliyallahutaalaanhu for this year is to be held on the night between 22nd and 23rd of November 2008. About 5 lakhs devotees from various parts of India and all over the world are expected to witness the grand urus festival.

A  grand zikr majlis of fassiyatush shadhiliyya tariqa is to be held on 22nd of november after magrib prayers at the Big jumma mosque in the premises of Durgah shariff. It is to be presided by Khalifas Moulavi A.Syed Khaja mueenuddeen B.A.,Govt.Kazi of Madurai and Moulvi A.Syed Afsar Husain Misbahi Ex.M.C., also there will be a mudakara Bayan by Khalifa Moulvi M.Liyakat Ali of Puthanatham. Khalifas and iqwan from varoius parts of Tamilnadu, Kerala and Karnataka are expected to take part in huge numbers as usual.

 Let Allah jal accept all our aamals and fullfill all our wishes with the Duaa and waseela of Hazrat Shaheed badhusha and Qutb Syed Abutahir shahid badusha and other shuhadaas of Erwadi Durgah.

A grand zikr halqa majlis and moulid shariff is to be held on 23rd of october 2008 at Panaikulam , Ramanathapuram district commemorating the wafat anniversary of Khalifatush shadhili Syed Ahmad @ Panaikulam BABA waliyullah one among the great scholars and students of Al waliyyul Kamil Sahibul Karamat Qutbuz zaman Al Arifu Billah Syed Abdus Salam Ibrahim Saalim Hazrat Rahmatullah Alaihi.

Khalifas and Iqwans from various places like Kayalpattinam, Madurai, Puthanatham and  Koothanallur are expected to take part. A bayan regarding the aqeeda of Ahlus sunna is also to be held by Moulvi. M.Sheikh Abdullah jamali from asar to maghrib.

A very grand zikr is to be held after maghrib at Panaikulam Juma masjid followed by mudhakara duaa and jalala.

 Let ALLAH jal.., accept all our deeds relating to this precious tariqa with the wasila of Gausul Akbar Imam Shadhili Radiyallah and Qutbul ujud Imam Fassi Radiyalla. 

On His way to Hajj, ona holy night, Sheikh Shazuli Imam was deeply involved in zikr, Istighfar and reciting salawats. Shadhuli Imam had never committed a sin in his lifetime. Continuing his efforts in reciting all the above Qutbul Akbar, Ghousul Ash’har, Sheikh of all Sheikhs, Qutb of all Qutbs, Ghouse of all Ghouses, Imam of all Waliyullahs, a Descendant of Prophet Rasulullah (Sal…) through Imam Hasan (Rali…), The establisher of a Real Tariqa to Unite with Allah, the leader of all saaliheens, and a rejuvenator of Islam, Al Qutb Ar Rabbani, Val Ghouse Al Fardani, Hazrat Seidina Imam Nooruddeen Abul Hasan Ali Ash Shadhili Raliyallahu tha’ala anhu…… left this world to Unite with Allah (Jal…) early morning at the time of “Sahar” on 12th night of the month of Shawwal in the year (1259 A.D.) 656 Hijri at Humaithara.

Hazrath Imam Shadhili was 63 years of age at that time. 

Followers of Imam Shadhili (Rali…) were found very much anxious and disturbed about Imam’s demisal. They were drowned in a irreparable loss which can never be compensated. All the other creations of Allah (Jal…) which were pursuing guidance from Imam shazuli (Rali…) were found lamenting, mourning the decease of Hadrath Shadhili Imam.Sheikh Abul Abbas Al Mursi (Rali…) presided the funeral rituals and solemnized Janaza Prayers followed by burial. This happened after the Subh Prayers on the 12th night of Shawwal 656 Hijri (1259 A.D.) at Humaisara. It is located in desert called Eesaab, some 300 kms from cairo (Egypt) on the way to Makkah Al Mukarrama.

Ibn Saffak narrates in his book DurratulAsrar,
““Sheikh Mursi said: Imam’s wafat happened on 12th night of shawwal and we proceeded with funeral on 12th day at Humaisara. On the next day (ie.,) 13th shawwal we could see a beautiful building built around our Sheik’s qabr. Our Sheikh’s Geneology was written on that we were really surprised to see this But we could understand the pride and dignity Allah (Jal…) has offered to our Sheikh Hazrat Shadhili Imam (Rali…)”.So, till the day of qiyama Sheikh’s followers (like us) will be pride of following such a precious Sheikh from our Prophet Rasulullah (Sal…)’s descendants

The very grand uroos mubarak of Al Qutb ar Rabbani Al Gaus Al fardani hadrat Seyyidina Imaam Nooruddeen Abul Hasan Ali Ash Shazuli raziyallah taala anhu for this year is to be held on 11th of 0ctober 2008 at Kazimar Big mosque madurai, tamilnadu, South india.

The continous Moulid shariff for 10 days, started from 3rd of Shawwal is completed on this day. Earlier a very Big Zikr halqa majlis is to be held after magrib prayers. Moulidh shariff will be held till subh prayers, followed by precious Du’aa and jalala. Tabarruk is distributed to all participants.

Our Khalifatul khulafa, other khalifaas and iqwans from kayalpattinam, Khalifa, Rayisul Muqaddam, Muqadaamins and other all iqwans from Puthanatham are taking part in this auspicious occasion. Also Iqwan from Erode, Dindigul, Adirampattinam, Sakkimanagalam and othakadai are to take part n huge numbers.

Hazrat Abutalib’s wife Hazrat Bibi Fatema bint Asad Radiyallah ta’ala anha was conceived. She was nearing to delivery when one day She was doing tawaf (Coming around ka’abatullah sharif). suddenly She got heavy pain, and gave birth to a male Child, who was Hazrat Ali karramallah wajhahu.It was Holy ka’aba the place of Birth of Moula Ali, about which Allah jal.. says in Qur’aanAnd remember when Ibrahim raised the foundation of the House with Ismail (praying) Our Lord accept (this service) from us; verily Thou and Thou (alone) art the All-hearing and the All-knowing”. (2:127) “And remember when We made the House a resort for mankind and a sanctuary (saying), take ye the station of Ibraheem a place of prayer (for you); and covenanted with Abraham and Ismail (saying), purify ye two My House for those who make the circuit, and for those who prostrate (adoring).” Nobody has got such a Noble significance of being born in baitullah shariff ka’aba.That much holy is the place of Birth of Imam Ali…Days passed on, and Hazrat Moula Ali was taken care by Rasulullah saws from very childhood.Allah jal.. ordered HIS prophet Hazrta Rasulullah saws to exhibit His prophecy, and Allah through Hazrat jibra’eel started sending wahi (Message from God) and Hazrat Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam started giving da’wa to people. Almost all from makkah opposed this. Though they believe in Allah, their claim was why Allah has not selected them for HIS prophecy, since they are well to do in all aspects, but an orphan Muhammadh (peace be upon Him). For the above claim they rejected Islam and started giving tortures to Hazrat Rasoolullah saws.Only very few accepted Islam. One day our Prophet was doing Namaz in His home while giving salaam at the end, He saw Hazrat Ali behind Him, doing so. Prophet asked “O Ali..! what you did?” Ali radiyallah replied ”oh my brother, what you where doing, i did the same” Hazrat replied “i was Praying Allah”,  “then I was also praying Allah” said Hazrat Ali. Prophet said “you still din’t take Eimaan”, Hazrat Ali told ” You din’t teach me what Eeman was”.Hazrat Rasulullah said “There is nobody in the world to be worshipful Except ALLAH, and I (Muhammad) am HIS prophet” if you accept this, you will be a muslim.Yes, I have no doubt in these true words. “La Ilaha Illallah Mohammadur Rasulullah” said Hazrat Ali keeping His hand upon the hands of Prophet.This is the incident how Hazrat Ali accepted Islam and He was No.3 in the list of Muslims.His age was 7, during this incident and according to some reports he was 9. But anyhow He was ghair baalig when He accepted Islam.Later in the

The Badr war was the very first battle held between the muslims and Kafirs. It was the very first year that fasting (swaum) was made mandatory for muslims in the month of Radaman and so all sahaba kiram were facing lot of troubles to fast, as they din’t have nice foods to eat during sahar, as they left all their wealth in Makkah al mukarrama, and came to Madinah Al munawwara with Rasulullah saws…

There were only 313 sahabas to fight against the big gang of Abi sufyan who came with around 1000 people. Though very less in number the sahabas were having a very strong faith in Allah, and stood firm to fight against that big cabal. The two troops met at a place called Badhar. Muslims were standing on soil and kafirs in a nice strong holded place, but Allah jal… made to pour a heavy rain that night and Muslims place became stronghold and that of kaafirs was moistured.

Next morning the war started, and Hazrat Sa’ad bin Abi waqas radiyallah ta’ala anhu was the first in the Islamic history to start a jihad against Kafirs. When He sent an Arrow towards the Kaafirs, asking Rasulullah saws to witness this before Allah jal.. on the day of  judgement, Prophet said, “Oh.. My sa’ad, My Father and Mother be sacrificed upon you. Ya Allah..!! make sa’ad Mustajab ad Du’aa”.

The battle went rigorously and as Allah jal.. says in Holy Qur’aan, Hazrat Jibra’il alaihis salaam was sent down to the earth with 3000 Mala’iks. They were also given a Sword of Hell with the Instruction as to Beat those useless kafirs in their back, and Joints, says Holy Qur’aan Sharif.

With the help of Hazrat Jibraeel and bravery of Fearless Sahaabaas, allmost all kaafirs were killed and some were captured. Hazrat Umar radiyallah suggested to kill those imprisoned Kaafirs if they are not willing to accept Islam. After serious discussion Hadrat Rasoolullah sallalahu alaihi wa swallam decided to get Jizyah (War prisoner’s fine) and leave them off. But Allah jal.. wished Hazrat Umar’s suggestion.

All great foes of Islam like Abujahal, Ataba, Shaiba,Umaiyya bin Khalf etc., where sent to hell. Then Hazrat Rasulullah saws, the King of Badhr came near the mortal remains of those kaafirs which were put into a well, and asked “We received, what our God, promised us.. Have you received what your gods have promised you..?” Seeing this, Some Sahabaas asked “Ya Rasulullah.. they are all dead and You are talking to the dead bodies.. Will they hear You?”

Allah’s prophet replied, “They will hear very well than you…” (Dead, are not dead. but they are taken from this world to the next. They will see and hear all in this world).

In this rigorous war, 7 Holy sahabas attained Martyrdom becoming first shuhadaas of Islam.

The kaafirs who came from Makkah, to ruin muslims went back with a huge loss. Had muslims been defeated in Badr, there would have been no Islam in this world.

 The significance of Rasulullah saws and 313 Badr shabaas is found in various  religious books like The Baranabas’ Biblical version (Original Old testement of Bible), The Bhavishya puranam, The Atharavana veda and in the sayings of Buddha.

         Detailed bayan of the above jist will be held at Kaziamr big mosque (Kazimar Periya pallivasal), Madurai, India on 17th of September 2008 i.e., on 17th Night of Holy month of Ramadhan, the Day of Badr, by Mowlavi.A.Syed Khaja Mueenuddeen B.A., Govt. Town Kazi and Khalifatush shadhili. Following the Bayan, the 313 Holy names of Badhr Sahaabaas will be read and du’aas will be made with their waseela, followed by Jalaala and Tabarruk distribution.

The grand uroos festival of Al waliyul kaamil Moulana Meer Ahmed Ibrahim Periya hazrat is to be celebrated this year Insha Allah on 13th of September 2008 (13th night of Ramzan) at kazimar big mosque, Madurai.

All details regrding to Madurai Hazrats have been published then and there in our sites, but any how it will be relevant to give a gist of that.

The birth of Periya Hazrat itself was a miracle. Hazrat’s father Moulana Mir ni’amatullah was not blessed with a child for many years after His marriage. One day His wife had a dream. Sultan Syed Ibrahim Shahid badusha of Erwadi appeared and asked her to come to erwadi for ziyarat with a Niyyat of getting a child. After 3 years thereafter with the dhu’aa of Sulthan Syed Ibrahim shaheed the great Lamp of Islam Moulana meer Ahmedh Ibrahim was born.

Periya Hazrat left His home town for the cause of Education to a madarasa, where He was among the Poor students group.One day his teacher berated him for He being a slow learner and the teacher also ordered Periya Hazrat to leave the Madarasa the next day morning as He is unfit to learn. Hazrat went to sleep very sadly as what He could do going home? without learning and without being educated.

Tonight Hazrat had a dream in which a big group of people were running, when asked as where they all are going? reply came as they all are going to see Rabbul Izzat ALLAH jal….

Hazrat too joined the group and went with them. Atlast, above a small Mountain ALLAH jal..’s Tajalli was visible and everyone present there saw and a voice came to towards periya hazrat as, what he wished was given.

   It was time for Subh prayers when Hazrat woke up from bed. Now Periya hazrat’s professor told Him to leave the madharasa. He also added, “Yesterday i told you to go, because you were unfit to learn, but today i am asking you to leave the madarasa as I am unfit to teach you now.”

 This was the way Periya Hazrat was given Education.

Al waliiyul kaamil Periya Hazrat then came to Madurai, and started a madarasa to teach with what He was blessed. Many great scholars of Islam in tamilnadu were Periya Hazrat’s students and they inturn started great madarassas all over Tamilnadu. Jaimoor a jinn was deployed to serve Madurai Hazrats by Sulaiman Alaihis swalam the messenger of Allah.

When Khalifatul khulafa Abubacker Miskin saahib of kayalpattinam went to Hajj, Ghousuna Al Qutbul ujud Imam fassi Rali.. gave Khilafat to Him and also asked him to give his Khilafat  to Periya Hazrat.

Al waliyyul Kaamil Periya Hazrat after very long discussions and perfect analysis accepted this Tariqullah and became as Khalifatul khulafa of this very precious Tariqa Fassiyatush Shadhiliyya, and spread it across over all parts of Tamilnadu.

Because of His outstanding knowledge and performance in the Islamic laws Hazrath Mir Ahamadh Ibrahim Rahmatullahi alaihi was appointed as the Govt.Chief Kazi of Madurai by the then British govt. in India. He served very well with both Khilafatship and with Kaziship and added Glory to Islam in Madurai and other parts of Tamilnadu.

Periya Hazrat passed away at His age of 63 in the year 1872.

Let ALLAH jal.. accept us in Both the world and Bless us with HIS mercy with the Du’aa and for the sake of Al waliyyul Kaamil Rahmatullahi alaihi..

The Younger most daughter of our beloved prophet Moletuna sayyida Fathima az zehara raziyallahu taala anha passed away on 3rd of Ramalan, 6 months after the death of our beloved prophet.

Beebi Fatimatuz zehra was the only alive ward of Hazrat Rasulullah swallallahu alaihi wa swallam, born after Hazrat’s prophecy.

She was the only child alive during our prohet’s wafaat and so Beebee Fatima is the only heir of our prophet and Her sons, Seyyaduna Imam Hasan and Seyyaduna Imam Husain Raliyallahu ta’ala anhuma are the begining of the Lineage of SYEDs all over the world till qiyamah.

Hazrat Rasoolullah swallallaahu alaihi wa sallam has said “Fatima- Bil atum minni. Fatima is a part of mine.”

so whatever stands to the glory of our prophet, a part of it rests with Hazrat Fathima according to the above Hadith.

Prophet has also said as “Fatema- Sayyidat an nisai Ahlil jannah. (My daughter) Fatema is the princess of all ladies in  Heaven (Jannah) ”

The Grand urus of Seyyidatuna fatimatuz zehra for this year is to be celebrated on 3rd September 2008 (3rd Night of Ramzan), at kazimar periya pallivasal, Madurai.

After tarawih, the function starts with Recital of suras followed by Rasulullah sal… Moulid then followed by a byt starting as “Anaz zehra fatimatul batuli” recited by Hazrat Fatima alaihissalam to Al Aarifbillah Syed Adus salam Ibrahim Saalim Hazrat.

Then a byt starting as “Fatihima Ya Fathima Ya Fathima.. Ya noora ainil Mustafa Ya Fatima” composed by Al waliyyul kamil Syed Muhammad Hazrat the then Khalifatush shadhilyya, will be recited.

The function then ends with Du’aa, Jalala and Tabarruk distribution as usual.

Let the Mercy of Khatoone jannat Hazrat fatima zehra al batul and ahlebait be blessed upon all of us for ever.
